I run small group workshops in my upstairs studio at Fisherton Mill.

Most Saturdays there is a morning session and an afternoon session.

In this workshop you can make a silver pendant or earrings, which can have a unique texture of your choice applied.

You'll have a go at several traditional silversmithing techniques.

I'm always standing by to help as much- or a little as you want.

All materials included (except a silver chain if needed)

Brass and copper also available for added colour.

There's no need to plan anything in advance, unless you want to. I show plenty of examples to help inspire ideas.

It lasts 2 hours and is £50 per person.

TEXTURING SILVER

In this 2 hour session you can make a silver ring for yourself, or a loved one and apply different silversmithing techniques such as planishing, embossing, wire work or reticulaton, to name a few, to make your ring beautiful and unique.

A popular and fun session.

Approx 2 hours £50 per person materials included. Brass and copper available too for colour contrasts. No experience necessary and no need to plan anything, unless you have a particular idea in mind, send me images in advance and I'll endeavour to help you achieve it.

RING MAKING

BANGLE MAKING

Bangle making is a 2 hour session in which you will make a finished bangle, unique with texture and made to fit. £50 per person for the session plus an extra silver charge for bangle making due to bangles requiring a lot more silver than rings or pendants/earrings. On booking, I'll explain thickness and style options and let you know the cost of the silver. (usually between £10-£30)

There is no extra charge for copper or brass bangles.

STONE SETTING

New for 2024 this workshop is for 2 people and takes about 3 hours.

This gives time to make a silver ring or a pendant with a bezel setting, and set the stone of your choice.

£75 per person, materials included including a selection of gemstones to choose from.

Specific stones can be ordered in on request, or you are welcome to bring your own.

ONE-2-ONE

I offer One-2-One jewellery making sessions, when the options are more flexible as to what's made.

Great if you have a particular idea in mind.

A lovely gift for a loved one who has an interest in creativity.

A session for 2 hours is £75, and is £25 per hour after then.

A One-2-One session can also be for you to see the process of your sentimental gold or silver being melted down and transformed into something new, either made by me or with you getting involved too.
